slowly, slowly, this becomes a page about reading, books and otherwise.
I grew up in a house full of books. My mother has always loved reading and even worked at Borders for awhile when I was young. At first I had trouble reading, but my mom encouraged me a lot! We even did this thing where if I read two books of her recommendation, she would buy a book of my choice!
Since then I've been a fairly enthuastic and consistent reader, though sometimes it gets hard if I'm in a depressive period (though audiobooks help quite a lot). I especially like genre fiction like mysteries, historical romance, science-fiction, and fantasy. For the most part contemporary general fiction or literature isn't my favorite, but there are some exceptions.
As of March 2022 to May 2022, I've had some trouble reading but I'm hoping to get back to it soon!
